Each August, Martha's Vineyard is transformed into "the" destination for Congressional Black Caucus Members, White House officials, Mayors, state electees and federal regulators to gather and host events. The Blockchain Braintrust Retreat has emerged as a key part of that tradition.
While many centralized financial institutions convene annual events during this time, our retreat deepens the experience for policymakers with a focus on emerging technologies, such as Web3 and Al.

The Annual Blockchain Braintrust Retreat includes a policy brunch and conclave of executives, founders, experts. The event brings together policy officials and senior industry leaders in blockchain and cryptocurrency to promote education and ensure diverse communities are not excluded from policymaking and rulemaking.

Why Martha's Vineyard?
Every August, Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, White House officials, leaders of civil rights groups gather at the Inkwell to host panels, workshops, and other events. Now, diverse crypto leaders also have a voice.
“Launching the Blockchain Braintrust is a pathway to ensuring seasoned and respected Black and Latino industry leaders have a voice as policy debates ramp up in Washington,” said Cleve Mesidor, Co-Founder of the Blockchain Braintrust. “We helped to birth decentralized finance and have earned seats at the table.”
